About Us

QUEST MEDIA PRODUCTIONS LTD was set up in 2006 by Co-Directors Jess Firth and Alex Hedley. The company was established with venture capital from a third party.

Alexander Hedley - Director, Editor and Producer
In 2005 he worked as a camera operator and editor on ‘The Men of Easy Company’, a film by Genesis Productions following the original ‘Band of Brothers’ veterans from the HBO and Playtone productions television series, produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. A former member of the New Zealand Parliamentary Press Gallery, with a journalism and book publishing background, Alex currently works as an editor in London.

Jess Firth – Director, Producer, Presenter and Editor
In the past Jess has a worked in television production and for Miramax on such feature films as Brideshead Revisited. In 2007-2008 he spent time in Israel and Palestine shooting documentaries; one focuses on the separation wall and the other on the Bahai religion. His latest production “The Wayfarer” is being currently screened in multiple locations across the globe and is being distributed on DVD internationally. Trained in Anthropology and Media, with a keen eye for photography, Jess currently works as a freelance filmmaker / photographer based out of London. (view photography at): www.firthmedia.com
